1. Who We Are

Our website address is: https://artifakt.io. Artifakt is a cloud-native platform that provides scalable infrastructure and deployment tools for modern web applications.

2. Comments

When visitors leave comments on our site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect and prevent spam.

An anonymized hash of your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture will be publicly visible alongside your comment.

3. Media

If you upload images to the website, please avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download and extract location data from images hosted on the site.

4. Cookies

We use cookies to improve your browsing experience and facilitate functionality such as remembering your preferences or login status. Here’s how we use them:

  • If you leave a comment, you may opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These last for one year.
  • A temporary cookie is set on the login page to check if your browser accepts cookies. It is discarded when you close your browser.
  • When you log in, we set up cookies to save your login information and display preferences. Login cookies last two days; screen option cookies last one year. “Remember Me” extends login persistence to two weeks.
  • If you log out, login cookies are removed.
  • If you edit or publish content, an additional cookie is saved (expires after 1 day) to store the post ID of the article.

5. Embedded Content from Other Websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles). Embedded content behaves as if the visitor has visited the external site directly.

These sites may collect data, use cookies, and monitor your interactions with the embedded content, including tracking if you are logged in to those third-party services.

6. Who We Share Your Data With

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email for security purposes.

7. How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely to allow us to recognize and auto-approve follow-ups instead of holding them in moderation.

For users who register on our website (if applicable), we store the personal information provided in their user profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time — except they cannot change their username. Administrators can also access and modify that information.

8. What Rights You Have Over Your Data

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you may request:

  • A copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • The deletion of your personal data (excluding data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security reasons)

To make a request, please contact us at [email protected].

9. Where Your Data Is Sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
